Our team is comprised of experienced and knowledgeable professionals who assist their customers to manage Information Technology projects. We have leveraged our collective experience to design a project management framework that closely aligns with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) by Project Management Institute (PMI).
The scope of provided services depends on customer needs and may include point-in-time advisory support to full life cycle project management. In determining the most effective approach, the team works with customers to understand project objectives and isolate impediments to achieving desired outcomes. Based on collaborative dialogue and review of available information, a tailored engagement, resourced for maximum impact, is advanced under one of the following models:
Partnership – Project Management and Business Innovation (PMBI) will provide a project team which will work in partnership with project sponsors, subject matter experts, and other program stakeholders. Under this model, there is a shared responsibility for executing activities and deliverables. PMBI will provide experienced IT professionals to manage and support all dimensions from project inception to completion. The client team brings relevant business and process knowledge and often will drive change management with guidance on best practices.
Coaching and Key Role Support– Project Management Management and Business Innovation (PMBI) will provide key project resources to augment the department’s existing team. This balanced approach introduces experienced and knowledgeable professionals that will provide strategic guidance and practical experience. Under this model, PMBI will provide specific skills and expertise needed to complement existing project teams with a focus on higher-impact project elements. The client assigns staff for most project roles and maintains significant responsibility for driving and execute project activities.
Admin IT Framework
The AdminIT Framework divides the overall project life cycle into six main process phases which may be executed sequentially, or in iterative and incremental fashion depending on the nature of the project. These focus areas facilitate disciplined management and control of the project helping to ensure the right software is selected, recommended practices are employed to identify risks and benefits, and adequate controls are in place for data and information systems. These processes are particularly critical and required for any project associated with third-party products or implementations.
